Hello, I used the option to edit my answer for the application document, I wonder if this change re sends it as a "new" application? since the confirmation email makes it seem as that, if so is it invalid somehow? cause I only meant to apply once, sorry for the trouble! ><

is there a grace period for accepted contributors to join the discord? ill be away and might not have internet access from 14-17nov so im worried i might be pulled out automatically in the case that i get accepted
Hello, and thank you for reaching out! Our contributor application period has extended, and result emails will now be sent on November 29, 2022. After emails are sent, accepted contributors will have one week to join the Discord server before we reach out to pinch hitters. We hope this answers your question!

I just submitted my application but I need to make a quick edit on the very last question, the one with our possible ideas. (Nothing major, just spruce it up a bit). Is it possible to do that or should I just leave it as it is?

Hi! We encourage applicants to submit the work they believe is the strongest representation of their writing. If you feel that a sample of real people fiction—so long as your portfolio follows the guidelines listed in our info doc—best represents you, then you may include it in your application. However, we want you to be aware that we can't properly judge characterization from this type of sample which may weaken your app, so please keep that in mind when applications roll around.
