Settle a debate: Is getting food delivered a romantic gesture? If so, what sort of food would make it romantic?

Pushing some buttons on your phone and then answering the doorbell is not inherently romantic, no.

Lots of things can be, it depends on the people involved, romance is about a feeling that comes out of that gesture, different people respond in different ways...the romance isn't in the act, it's in understanding what makes their heart flutter

When you want to be truly romantic I'd say prepare and cook your romantic food yourself?

Preparing or having food sent can be a love language. I guess it would depend if the other person sees it that way, as well.

It could be. It's not about the food but the feeling for each other what probably make it romantic. Like you get home feeling like shit after an exhausting work day and your partner prepares you a hot bath and while you're taking that bath, they order delivery food (probably your fav bc they know you well) so none of you have to do nothing at all. Just being there spending some Time together 😊

It shouldn't be, but its unusuality make it so. Anyways, just deliver a big burger to me and my heart will be yours.
