What is your opinion of 'dad jokes'?

Two dads walk into a bar. Sitting at the first table is a rabbi, a priest, and an imam. At the second there's an Irishman, an Englishman, and a Scotsman. At the third table there's a blonde, a brunette, and a readhead. Up at the bar sits a dog with a bandaged paw. One dad looks at the other dad and says, 'What is this; some kind of joke?'

I like them if they're actually clever enough, but if it's just a bad pun, *sigh*

Underrated. For me, it wasn't until I was "dad-aged" (my 30s) that I appreciated dad jokes. I think as you get older, you learn to enjoy the simple things in life, and one of those things can be the simplicity of a good dad joke.

Dad jokes in this country might be different from yours. Here they focus on dads being the family parasite and mums are the family heroes. How is that in UK? So far nobody did tell me any dad jokes. Probably because it is totally un-english to do that to an outsider? ;)

My father in law is the king of those. And he gets you when you least expect it. It’s cute.
