Could you be in a relationship with someone whose political ideals are completely opposite to yours?

If you can’t be an empathetic human— no matter your political affiliation, then I would find it very difficult to share my life in that manner with someone like that. Perhaps we could be acquaintances (best case scenario) but anything beyond that would be a no.

there could be a few that are not as significant but the big ones that are more than political beliefs to me and more so morals that involve having empathy for other humans, no. I don’t think so.

No because people who have political ideals opposite of mine usually think people like me shouldn't exist

I can, if the other person can is another question. Unless it's promoting murdering babies, rape, incest, hurting people for fun, I don't have an issue with them.

I would say try to keep politics out of the bedroom so to speak. But thats impossible. I could. I could get along with anyone including a relationship. Even if they have completely different political beliefs than me. As long as they are open and willing to listen to contrary opinions. And as long as it's not an issue that affects our daily life entirely.

I think that is impossible. It is likely that this relationship doesn't take off at all from the start. Too different types of life.

Sure - so long as they are not a dick about their politics and can tolerate a different of perspective.

No - not that we can't disagree, the problem is that my politics are centered around empathy and it won't work out between me and someone without empathy

No, I don't think so. We would fight all the time and that would be too much stress.
