re languages :

actually , I already know that your first language is Spanish
ha , sorry for asking you something I kind of already knew about you

I used to study Spanish back in high school but don't remember much since I haven't put it into use / much practice in many years now
and you know what , I was actually kind of good at it at one point but then got really bad with it
it really all boils down to practice and who you want to use that language with / what you want to use it for in your daily life - I didn't really have any kind of reasons like that unfortunately

plus , ha , I'm kind of retarded and my brain isn't good enough at processing another language anymore
which is why what I'm about to say isn't empty praise - I think your English is amazing and I would've never guessed that Spanish is actually your first language
ha , and hey I would really know since I've lurked across your account for quite a bit as in a lot and I've never came across any English mistakes from you

in terms of light novels - while I do love to read - I mean , duh , of course I do - I just can't bring myself though to read light novels when manga and anime for them exist
I'd have to be exposed to the light novel first and not know if it has an anime or manga

oh , ahh , I just remember some phrases I would try to use a lot in Spanish
' al alcance de qualquier bolsillo ' and ' bajo la misma estreallas '

Thanks for the compliment, I do think I make a lot of syntax mistakes but I appreciate the comment nonetheless.

Also, don't discourage yourself about learning a different language. If it's something you want to do, you can definitely do it! And yes, it can be hard in the beginning and even after years of using that language you will still encounter some situations where you'll hesitate or feel dumbfounded but like you said, it takes a lot of practice and consistency, so don't feel discouraged. We all learn in different ways and at different paces, just take things at your own pace. Your spanish phrases are pretty good too!

Light novels aren't for everyone, I guess I'm drawn to them because I like to read a lot so while I enjoy visual/multimedia mediums as well, I like the process of reading the words and imagining things on my own, but that's the beauty about fiction, you can enjoy it in a lot of different ways!
