Every time I see an US home on insta people have their clothes scattered across the floor..... is that a real cultural habit or just a sarcastic insta stance?

I feel like that not a widespread thing...like there's a demographic for that, probably a ton of overlap with people who live on IG

I guess it depends on the person. It’s not necessarily a “cultural habit”, but a personal one.

Pretty accurate if it's not an advertisement for Rosie The Robot House Keeping services inc.

idk, I've been to a few other people's houses in my life, and I don't remember there ever being clothes scattered across the floor. I think the default is general cleanliness. I have some clothes in a pile on my floor, but only because I don't have an extra hamper for the dirty ones.

It's been a long time since I've been in someone else's house, though, maybe things are different with the younger generation, idk.
