Do you believe in second chances? Why or why not?

I used to believe it because I thought people would change to be a better one as a repentance of mistakes they did in the past. But someone in my life proved me wrong about it and so I don’t believe in second chances anymore.

I do. It's normal to make mistakes and I believe people deserve a chance to make it up. No more than that, though. Right at the time someone failed to make amends for their wrongdoings is also the time they lose me.

I do. People deserve another chance, me think. But still, depends on the situation and how worse their mistakes.

Honestly, it depends. I generally believe in second chances because everyone deserves to try again and not giving up on what they want or dream of, but on certain occasions (e.g. cheating), I don't believe it. They screwed up SCREWED UP, if you know what I mean... They broke my trust, and I'd rather prioritize my own peace than to deal with them again.

I do for most people and cases, but I think if someone already has a repeated pattern then.. what's the point of any more chance tbh..? They clearly don't intend to change

I do. Because everyone deserves second chances, moreover if they want to fix anything or be a better person.

It depends actually, but yeah. Second chance is OK. Only when you’re serious about it. Because some people tend to ask for a second chance but they don’t actually change for the better—all bullshit.

individual errors in judgment can usually be corrected. as long as you have the courage to admit mistakes, things can be turned around. but intolerant, narrow minds with no imagination are like parasites; transform the host, change form, and continue to thrive. some things are just evil; there is no deep story behind it, there is no huge traumatizing event that lead them here. and some hearts are just intertwined with darkness; dressed in cruelty, came from a nightmare with their monsters that turn shaped its skin in any form. and there is nothing you can do about it, you just need to get rid of it as far as you possibly can

I do. For me everyone deserves one more chance to reflect on their mistakes and fix what they’ve broken.

Yes. I do believe in giving a second chance. But it has to come with understanding that the reason for it is only because I truly believe it's not going to happen again. In all my past experiences the minute you giving second chance you seen as weak and can be walked all over. Just remember, once is a mistake, twice is a habit.
