I don't know. I still use Windows 7 and have no intention of updating. All I've ever heard about the newer operating systems is bad things.

I didn't think it was bad at all, I've never had much trouble with Windows OSs since Windows XP. (Though Vista was kinda bad, and for some reason a few things are much worse in Windows 11 than Windows 10).

Windows 10 Just Works™️ and is very polished, robust and featureful.

At least it’s not windows 11 tbh (no windows since 98se has even approached good though let’s not lie to ourselves)

I don't have all the answers to this, but I suspect that the development teams are being forced to rush through things in some cases and also are adding unnecessary features or apps, etc. I use Linux at home and I like the minimalist distros where you can customize them as much as you want. I believe the more recent versions of Windows are trying to please everyone and you really can't please everyone.
