How do define or understand faith to be?

Faith is what I have in myself when I decide to carry 140lbs of laundry in one harrowing dash instead of just making two trips

The belief that some greater power is somehow looking out for you, and your willingness to put your absolute trust in it.

I best describe it has a safety blanket for some. I don't mean it as an insult. Some ppl need that. It gives them purpose, makes them better ppl and gives them comfort in dark moments. It's not for me but I have no issues with others that find good in it🙂

When you have no faith that your life is real and not a boring tale you end with a boring tale, and I would not want this. So I must have faith that my life is real because without there is nothing, no love, no life, no joy, no adventure, no secret, no meaning.

I used to think of it as being 'belief without evidence' but then I've been thinking, what is evidence anyway? People see what they wanna see, the 'evidence' can come from within...like with 'intelligent design', you're speaking with somebody about it and they say 'look around you, the evidence is everywhere!' I guess faith just boils down to belief - the evidence comes out of the belief

A personal belief that you hold to be true. Regardless of how others choose to interpret, or how others have told you through word or action to interpret.

It's meaningless without conditions. And mostly it means pulling something together..... opposite of the big bang

Having hope and belief in a positive outcome or reality through unknown means?

Tbh I'm clueless and hope someone else on here has a better answer
