What used to bring you joy (pre COVID) that no longer does now?

Well, it's difficult to answer because pre covid, I didn't have joy in my life and now I do.

But I would say the ability to not let go, because it mattered that much at the time. Now I can just accept it more peacefully. I thought it was the way to go back then, doggedly fighting tooth and nail with all the emotions I have in me. In the end if it wasn't meant to be, it'll just be our own annihilation and descent into madness.

I think all the same things bring me joy. When they work... tried to give some peanuts to all these little riot squirrels today, but they weren't being team players. None of them would come to get the peanuts. How free and plentiful do peanuts have to be before they're enticing? I don't have the answer

Pre COVID for me is before I was infected. I still am not back to my old type of fitness. I do not enjoy very long exhaustive walks the way I used to.

libraries, bookstores and whatnot, now I gotta worry about who coughed and rubbed their plague germs all over Pliny's Natural History
