Is our society too self involved? Explain.

I can't speak for everybody, but I've tried to be less involved with myself and it's pretty difficult since everywhere I go, that's where I am.

Sure, daily and live news streams make us care about a lot of things we don't need to or have no baring on our lives - yes thats a good thing in a lot of ways, but its also a lot for a mind to handle and I think it contributes to this global burnout we're all witnessing.

I do know no other sort of society so far. To truely be too self involved requires a big country with a large population so that foreign experiences are only peripheral and of little general interest. Like Russia, China, USA or India.

I think people should be more involved with themselves ngl and less with other people

It is. To get on my old man soapbox Atleast the social media people. It's all about likes and follows and whatnot. It's the "Me" generation. 🙄
