What were you hesitant to do, did, and were glad that you did?

A couple of weeks ago my laptop's hinge broke for the second time. I went to a repair shop and asked for an estimation on how much it might cost me. They told me around $300. I came back home. Found a YouTube video that explained how to fix the issue myself. I spent like 6 bucks and ordered JB Weld (some sort of powerful glue) on Amazon and was able to somehow fix the hinge problem. I also ordered a used laptop from eBay for 300 bucks. I'm glad I decided to fix my laptop myself rather than giving $300 to repair it.

when I interviewed for my current position I was hesitant to leave the comfort of my previous position at work.

I quit grad school. I had never really quit anything in my life up to that point but I'm glad I did. That place sucked the soul out of every living thing. I remember one time when I put a tiny plant on the communal kitchen windowsill and next time I checked it someone left me a passive aggressive post-it about how unsafe that was for it to be there... a plant. On a windowsill. No happiness was allowed there

Turned down a business meeting due to colliding demands and the response was so nice and was affirmative to cancel it.

Chose my major. Can't imagine how troubled I'd be now if I had chosen something more math-heavy
