As an open-source emulator developer, what do you think about open-source software? This may sound confusing, but the late Near ended up not liking the concept very much.
All my software when it's written by myself is usually MIT licensed... partially because I don't want to commit to anything. I just kinda ask for some credits. I don't remember if Near actually disliked the concept, as they always released the source code of their software (and for me that's the most important part), but there's a lot of questions to ask about how you feel personally about the code you wrote being reused elsewhere, especially if somehow it's misused.
