To be honest, I don't know if it's true or not for some people. But for me personally, yes. I don't know why, when I listen to sad songs, I tend to think that something bad will happen in the future. The tip is to perhaps not become overly attached to the song or think about anything upsetting while listening to it because it will affect you later. It's fine to listen to the song occasionally, though.
