A man in England was turned away from a pub in Liverpool by a bouncer for being too old. Thoughts?
Let the old man live 😭😆
It's a big world, lots of stuff happening all over the place 24/7, it's no surprise something like this happened once somewhere. If it were a regular occurrence then it might be an outrage.
That's very unexpected
Looks like the Pub Landlord will have to payout £10,000 in small claims court for discrimination.
I think it's going to be the security team not the pub from what I read.
Was the old man in question crawling or what?
Crawling like a drunkard on the floor severely knocked off his feet?
RUDE and ageist. Can he sue for age discrimination?
That's messed up, are they trying to be one of those 'we're young and trendy' kind of places? Anyway it's outrageous and I'm going to gather up some old people and we're going to march at 4 AM before the Country Buffet opens
Nope he filed a complaint to the bar and they told him to get in touch with the security department as it was the bouncer who wouldn't let him in.
So the old man was armed?
I think I'm still a little confused, so the bar doesn't have a policy, the bouncer just decided on his own he's not letting old people in?
No why would he be armed?
Yes the female bouncer said no you are too old.
That sucks, if anybody has earned the right to a pint it's old people
I agree and the pub even agreed.
I only thought that the bouncer must have had a more serious reason than just a random too old to drink stance?
