I'm curious does Anonymous Code having a dub cause "dubtitles" problem where some accuracy has to be sacrificed to create a script that someone can say out loud and not sound like a numpty?

So you often find in anime that dubs have to be tailored to lipflaps and also the timeframe of the actual line, which can affect structure and even sacrifice information for the sake of fluidity. Fortunately that isn't really an issue with this game, as a VN line can take as long as it likes (it waits for the player to click) and there are no pre-set lipflaps to work with (any kind of sentence is fine). My editor and I worked pretty hard on this script to make it accurate to the source while still good to look at/sound out for English readers or listeners. I didn't translate it with the intention of working on it as a "dub adaptation," I just translated it with readability and delivery in mind. My script has no altered/cut content, no deviations from intent, and nothing that I think would distract a player if they're reading it with Japanese audio. I personally wouldn't consider the script a "dubtitle" one, since I think it's a completely different ballgame to working on a television show.
