Do you think it's difficult to get away with murder?

Considering the george zimmermans out there, I think it's a lot easier to get away with murder than it should be.

I read that 1 (or was it 2?) in 3 murders go unsolved. I also read that, like Sean said, it's really hard to solve a murder when the murderer had no known relationship to the victim.

Might be easy if you're wealthy and powerful and murder someone nobody cares about.

Much more likely if your victim is a stranger you have no connection to, or at least a connection that is concealed - if it's someone you know, you're at minimum going to be investigated if you're not a suspect from day one...then people tend to overestimate their intelligence and end up making mistakes - trying to conceal things can be the very thing that gets you caught, anyway whoever it was you offed I hope they had it coming brother

It's hard to tell because when I watch my little true crime stories on youtube it's usually on cases that have been solved/the perpetrator has been caught, so in that case there's a survivorship-bias type of thing going on where my perception is that it's NOT easy because I see all the dumb shit people do to get caught. I also think that if you own a smartphone the chances of you not getting caught are like next to zero

what the actual fuck is wrong with you? am I supposed to report this to the authorities?

It's fairly easy if
1) you're in the jungle
2) and you're not involved with questionable activities
