The Supreme Court of the US has overturned Roe v. Wade, ending 50 years of federal abortion rights. Thoughts?

This won't stop abortion, it'll stop safe abortions. Those with money will travel to a safe state, those without will go to back street practitioners, with nothing more than a knitting needle or a wire coat hanger, and sod all in the way of hygiene.

Courts do eventually what people want. When an entire culture swings to different views the law and courts follow. Not necessarily all people but the bulk of them. Seen in Poland, Hungary, Brazil, Russia etc. There is a worldwide demand for bigotry, nationalism, chauvinistic aggression and pseudo-religiously decorated subhuman shit. So the institutions follow. This happens not just like that or by chance. There is a power struggle to try and influence all decisions on all political levels and infiltrate law making and law application and law interpretation in order to push more ideology into the mechanisms of power.

It's sad and despicable and especially gutting that this came 1 day after SCOTUS struck down a NY concealed carry law in order to protect the constitutional right to bear arms, bc apparently that shouldn't be restricted by the states! Guns are better protected than ppl with uteruses in this country. Lovely

'Twas only a matter of time, people (Democrats) are going to blame Republicans or Trump or whatever and conveniently ignore literally decades worth of opportunities that Democrats could have passed legislation to protect Roe, but decided to use Roe as a campaign fundraiser instead. Oh yeah and Hillary picked Trump to run against, they wanted Trump to be the nominee, asked their media ghouls to pump him up, Democrats hands are just as bloody as Republicans
