Just read about another mass shooting in the US, this time in Indiana. How do you not get shot in the US? Have you guys had any kind of training to increase your chances of surviving an active shooter attack?

A good guy with a gun stopped the shooter but the media and gun control supporters don't want to give him his due because he challenged/debunked the gun control narrative. The gun control narrative and gun control supporters were BTFO. Elisjsha Dicken is a hero.

In 2007, the year the Virginia tech massacre happened, I was in 9th grade and we'd just returned from Springbreak. My high school at the time had a brief acknowledgment of mass shootings in which they didn't "train" or prepare anyone for them really, they basically just said if you see tRoUblEd teens with weapons, or who tell you they are planning to bring weapons to school, you must report them no matter how sure you are they wouldn't hurt anyone or themselves. That was the first time I remember a school I went to talking about mass shootings. This is probably because of the part of the country I've mostly grown up in. [...]

Since I live in the US, I've been attending active shooter/lockdown drills since I was in elementary school. But all the training we get is to hide and try not to make our presence in the classroom known. Lights off, cover the windows, don't make noise... which falls apart if the assailant has gone through the exact same training throughout their education

I hope walls of my home are bullet proof! have felt afraid to go to where theres lots of people

The Indiana one killed two unfortunately but an armed civilian did shoot and kill the shooter. Maybe the right is correct and more guns in good hands is the answer 🤔

As a teacher, yes. We train the kids, as well.

Following the current logic of the US politics schools must have closets with attack rifles at hand and always a dozen or more well trained teachers and pupils who can shoot back with those. It would be a win-win. More weapons for an increasing market more people well trained on weapons. Self protection of schools against shootings. It will result in more violence and makes schoolgrounds and campuses war fields, but that is what people want. Soon there will be classes on warfare, defence, strategic field operations in crowded areas, silencing of peaceful counter votes, designing schooluniforms, learning tactics and heavy arms, [...]

Ha, one place made me watch a 4 minute video that was 'Run Hide Fight': Run, if you can't run, Hide, if you can't hide, then fight...then because we live in a psycho police state, there is a non-zero chance they show up and shoot you too, so the video warned about that, anyway yeah I'm am now fully trained, haha

I haven't. I went to school before the mass shootings started, though.
