Would it affect you adversely if your employer found out you used to go to therapy or see a psychiatrist?

I'm not sure, but if it did I wouldn't know if it was that or all the other things that turned them off.

I’m there sure that there are PLENTY of us in this profession who visit mental health professionals. We are provided with pretty generous mental health insurance coverage. They only way this would happen is if it began to affect my work performance and/or the way the interacted with students/colleagues.

It doesn't now because I work for myself, but my previous job required a security clearance, and they absolutely investigate your mental health history, the fuckers
