World cup question: when did the US get so good at soccer? I was expecting a crushing win for England 🙄

Anybody can be good at soccer these days. You just need to buy a couple of very good players. That is how soccer works these days.

They've been good for a while. They don't have the star power but their fundamentals are strong. England have never beaten them in the World Cup, and with the amount of money they are getting invested in them I'm sure they'll continue to be in that top 16 - potential for top 8 level.

They are not, I can assure you that - they are probably not going to make the next round unless they beat Iran, I'm hearing English fans mad about lineups and shit, like maybe the coach is messing up

Me too. I really hope the US wins their last game. Also, I expected more from Wales but Gareth Bales once again disappointed us.

P.S. I'm a Real Madrid fan.

They didn't. They failed to qualify for the last World Cup, they struggled in qualifying and got beaten home and away for the first time ever by Canada. So far they've drawn against Wales (who lost to Iran today) who are a one man team. All that happened is they lifted their game and England failed to make their chances count.
