I kinda dislike Confession of the Golden Witch, too. But one thing I love from the manga was Cage of Obligations, the chapter right after Confession. I wish the VN had that.

Oh yeah I really enjoyed that part of the manga! I feel like aspects of it are present in the VN, but it's definitely a lot more explicit and spoken about in the manga and I appreciate it. As well as some of the additional tidbits in the halloween party, iirc.
