ohhh!! my usual thought process is like:
1. i feel inspired by an irl binneul interaction/lore drop/look or outfit
2. i think abt how it could be expanded on in fic format. i love stereotypical romance and fic tropes and i'd usually choose a bunch that i like and put my own spin on them haha
3. i consider how i could retain binneul's irl dynamic and personalities in this new setting

i really believe step 2 and 3 are the most crucial 🥹!!!! i actually think that on a surface level most of my ideas are pretty standard fic/romance plots and all my effort goes into fitting binneul into them to make it fun both for me to write and for the readers who love them as much as i do to read

as for prioritizing, i had to learn from experience to be realistic about my abilities and what i have the mental and physical capacity to write 😭 like for example ive had a really elaborate idea for an epic fantasy dragon!bin phoenix!neul fic for like a year now but i know that it would be at least +100k and require a ton of planning and world building so i had to put it aside and focus on ideas i know for sure i can commit to from start to finish.
