A multiarmed person could do some interesting unique stuff, especially with a piano or drums, maybe a guitar. They'd have to develop the compositions and techniques themselves, though, so they'd have to be real virtuosos to be more than a gimmick that way. It's far more likely that they play with normie techniques and then have free hands for holding a mic, turning music sheets, maybe screwing with a soundboard or some kind of DJ setup...
