Had to get out a bunch of unused but good kitchen items and some assorted surplus things. Wrote a big cardboard with the text: I like to give these away as gifts! - All the items placed aside of my door facing the street. The only item they didn't take was an old plush mouse I had sitting on top and the board. I hope somebody needed that stuff! - how do you do this? Decluttering?

I feel like I should do that but my mom doesn't like when I touch that subject.

The thing is, while we do have too many of some items, they are mostly worn out. I had to use a certain pan today and mom mentioned it's almost 40 years old. It's usable, but it's all bent and the bottom is far from flat, which isn't exactly good. That's not the kind of thing I can give away, so I'd probably sell the pans to some scrapyard.

The glassware is good though, so I'd probably post a status on WhatsApp and tell some people I'm giving them.
