I fully didn't know there was any animosity between Jiwoong fans and gmg fans/shippers in general. If you're a Jiwoong fan, I'm sorry you see him get dragged into ships or portrayed as a homewrecker...but I really don't think that was OP's intention?? I imagine OP literally has no clue of that drama because it's going on mostly in english speaking fan spaces and OP is japanese. According to the translation of her post, she just wasn't expecting Taerae to be the answer so she blurted out Jiwoong out of nervousness 🤷‍♀️ and the whole thing seemed to be just a bit of fun on Gunwook's part, like him fighting with Matthew stans over Matthew is already a running gag that clearly amuses him and he has fun indulging.
