It’s no surprise why people are frustrated with the pacing and critical of the story. It’s not just international fans feeling this way, even KR fans, most of whom are Jisu stans, share the same sentiment. That alone proves there’s something worth discussing. Plus, why is everyone acting like Cheol is the only one who needs character development? Let’s not overlook that Mi-ae is keeping a secret from him because she knows how much he dislikes Jisu. She’s even admitted to having both Cheol and Jisu wrapped around her fingers and feeling relieved the faceless girl isn’t attending the academy, which gives her the upper hand now that Jisu is around. Sure, this arc might be Cheol’s chance to confront his insecurities and jealousy, but what about Mi-ae’s growth? Let’s be real. Who’s actually misreading the story and twisting opinions here? 😭
that’s a good point, i haven’t seen it being brought up yet. miae is having conflicts with being torn about keeping secrets from yonghui and yunhui and the topic of jisu and cheol, just balancing with not trying to upset the other by hanging out with the other one. it’s a sticky situation but i hope she tells cheol about jisu soon lol i think the story can only move forward after that. or maybe this jealousy arc is building up to a loaded argument between them where true feelings are revealed from both of them.
