Story time: on Monday a co worker who works in the town centre said no to a beggar asking for money because he had no money, the beggar then attacked him punched him in the chest and spat in his face. The co worker went to the police to report it and the police said he won't be arrested for 3 days because of back log on Tuesday the beggar was arrested because he attacked a woman sat on a bench , the police then informed the co worker that the beggar had hepatitis so co worker left early from work to go to the hospital and get tested. Now today the beggar had been released and the police have told him to stay away from co worker and co worker to stay away from him even though co worker has to clean the town centre everyday, the beggar started verbally abusing co worker so co worker reported to the police again and reported to our boss/manager. Our manager has basically told co worker that it was his fault for being too nice of a person and that's why the beggar attacked him. What are you thoughts on this and what would you do if this happened to you?
