i think patience is probably the word for them here... akito's super impatient and restless and just hates sitting still for too long without doing anything because then he has to Think, and Thinking is Bad. this reflects in his kisses, because he does not think about them. they're "see you later" or "goodnight" or "i missed you" kisses, little quick presses to the cheek... either that or he falls victim to the classic post-live endorphins, where he gets a little too caught up in how amazing touya is and the only way he can express that joy is pinning him to a wall backstage. But that too is "not thinking too much." fleeting but intense, a little rough around the edges, warm... quite akito-like

touya i think is on the complete opposite end in a way that makes akito explode lol. i remember reading this line in a fic once that was something like... being the subject of a musician's devotion is almost overwhelming (paraphrased) and now i think about that constantly in regards to him. like touya is intense in his own way but that's because his attention does not waver and he takes his time with absolutely everything. this guy loooooves savoring the moment and he looooooves learning more about all the different sides of akito and he wants to remember everything about everything and it definitely drives akito up the wall LMFAO because he is just happy enough with the simple fact that this is something he can do. he is allowed to hold akito's face in his hands and smile like an idiot and take in every detail of his face not to mention the actual kissing. because once touya's done beating around the bush he's kind of like a puppy that you have to eventually shove away from licking your face he just really likes kissing akito a whole lot. touya's pretty much the type to get very wrapped up in whatever he's feeling and kind of discards the rest of the world for a bit

i don't know man (got embarrassed typing this) there's of course room for nuance on either side but this is generally how i see it. a lot of it is from the akito "why do i want to be loved" touya "why do i want to love" (touya loves being able to openly show how much he adores akito + akito is getting used to accepting that unconditional love without immediately downplaying himself) and i think it speaks a lot to how they treat each other... kiss kiss fall in love forever hope this was good food for thought i will crawl into a hole now
