Male culture harbours extreme behaviours and extreme customs and extreme fears. One of the fears is to be raped by another man. That is why men forged the expressions like e.g. "fuck that shit". It is a curse depicting the biggest fear. Male customs revolve around achievements of being the leading bull, the top gun, the baddest- I-get-every-woman guy, that defines the alpha male among peers. Making him a victim of male affection, of sexual desires is considered a femal role. An alpha male cannot risk being considered female, or suspected of causing female-ish desires in others. This makes males, not only alpha males insecure. Becasue this depends on the views and ideas of the peers, your fate is dependent on the social standing others give you. They literally can talk and chat you out of existence. So homophobia is a double fear: Fear of being suspected non-male, fear of being pushed out of the alpha role. You lose power plus you lose the respect of peers plus you gain the disgusting female feature of being a victim. So you hate and act violently against everybody who might have feelings towards you, especially disgusting men with female feelings, traitors to their race and traitors to the code of conduct among male peers.

Sexuality runs deep in humans, and the flipside of being excited by it is being disgusted by it when somebody expresses sexuality in a way that seems perverted to you. People can only understand others by putting themselves in their shoes, and males can can only imagine the depths of degeneracy they would have to fall to to have sex with another male, so they think the homosexual did the same, though they did not. They were just born oriented differently. Then this homophobia became cemented in religion (what is religion based on other than popular morality), thus making it stronger in religious males and allowing it to be carried over to females through indoctrination.
