What would it take for you to believe aliens exist?
Actual proof like seeing one. I'll believe in/acknowledge aliens if or when they're confirmed. I think it should be treated the same way we treat all other species or hypothetical species. If its existence is proven, we acknowledge it. If not, we don't. I don't want to believe things. I want to know things, especially when it comes to whether something exists or not. A species either exists or it doesn't. Aliens haven't been proven. Therefore, I don't acknowledge/believe in them. If they get confirmed, I'll acknowledge them.
An episode of Alf.
Nothing. It takes nothing to think they exist. In the tiny space we can detect we so far found more than 4400 planets. This gives a potential number of planets in the Milky Way of many, many billions. And there are many billions of other galaxies around us. From the number of planets it is highly likely that many, many alien lifeforms exist. But for me the most alien of aliens are some other people. So in any possible meaning of "alien" I think they are out there and down here.
