What is there earliest you have had to wake up for something (i.e. work/holiday... not because something woke you up)?

4 or 5 am.

3 a.m. to catch a flight to London, 1a.m. to catch a ferry when I was Glasgow bound. 5 a.m. to fly to Chicago.
Basically airplane schedules are so cruel.
