What are your thoughts on the concept of Men 'compensating for something'? (i.e. that men buy expensive things and/or getting really buff due to penis inferiorities).

I think it happens sometimes (I mean cliches do not just randomly fall out of the sky) but it's not nearly as prevalent as some would think, now who wants to help me sort out my mommy issues on this new boat?? 😭

People overcompensate many things by developing weird or costly habits. Not only men. Culture with a male dominant structure therefore develops that sort of thing in special ways since displaying "strength" or other "male" traits is a demanding social pressure that actually causes people to develop social habits like e.g. fake penis replacements that take the form of e.g. muscle-cars and such.

I'm only really aware of the mid life crisis in which some compensating for some things occurs in some men.

It's a conspiracy put forth by Kate to keep me from enjoying my yacht collection 😤

Pure prejudice with hints of phrenology, and therefore false. If such thing were true, then I wouldn't be so thin, for example

just a silly way of looking at it, probably rarely reflective of reality. though they may be compensating for things other than their penises, like personality, looks, height, age, finances..
