If it was down to you, how many children would you want to have?

Zero. Can't deal with the supreme terror. I think being responsible for even one young, vulnerable life in some of the better circumstances would be a little nightmarish for me. But just doing seemingly normal things would be too much for me in this environment. Are going to survive a day of 4th grade? What if there's no baby formula? Am I gonna get investigated for child abuse if I accept them for who they are? Can't stand the thought of any of it.

Ooh man. If I had known them what I know now, likely zero, but I wanted one and then got a “surprise” a few years afterwards.

When I was working as a nurse I had 12 on average while I was assigned to the pediatrics ward. I fancied it for a while to have a daughter of my own. I aspired not more than that, but it never took root.
