Jennifer Aniston has gone viral after saying that social media influencers are 'famous for basically doing nothing'... is she right?

Damn, y'all hate the hell out of this woman

Yeah, she's right, though. Only thing is, being famous isn't really a reward for work or effort that lasts or seems valuable or useful to a lot of people, anyway. I mean, you can be famous for being the 'ugliest' dog in the world. So it's just kind of fucked up that people think fame = effort I value.

Maybe true and yeah in the end there is pretty much nothing of value being created. It's all about growth for the sake of growth, but all of that gets us to a moment....Got It Bad by Addison Rae and I would take that over anything JA has done tbh.

It may be true for some influencers, not for others. I think a lot of them put a lot of work and/or talent into their craft. And some of them may be popular just for being pretty or having a certain kind of personality. But I don't know what Jennifer Aniston's point is, life isn't and never has been even remotely fair. Some people just have lots of money or fame for doing little to nothing, some people live on the street for reasons beyond their control, etc. I don't understand why everyone is so quick to attack Jennifer over this though and criticize her acting. She's a great actor, and what she said isn't 100% wrong.

Interesting comment for someone who just plays her one-dimensional, vapid self on every single movie or sitcom she’s been in.

Kinda, I know ppl are saying she's not much better while I don't love her acting atleast what she did however bland is a form of acting. It's a craft that she learned. Even if you don't think she's good at it. "Influencers" do nothing, have no real talent imo.

That is a sentence that applies to some more jobs than influencers though it isn't fully true in all cases.

She can be right for some of them. Other ones work hard on the content they're sharing

Yes, but because of how her character was written and how she performed it in a sitcom from the 90's, she isn't allowed to express that opinion.

I think she kinda lives in a glass house on this one - I mean what exactly did Rachel do on Friends?
