So there's a study that negatively correlated employment rate with financial and economical performance. Do you agree that unemployment is good for business?

I'm not an economist but... job = salary, salary = disposable income, disposable income = sales for a business, sales for a business = profit for a business, profit for a business = job opportunities... did I miss a step?

Do you like coffee with ice cubes?

Yup, not really a warm drink guy. So when I have to drink Coffee (something I basically treat like medicine) I try to get an iced coffee.

Have you ever been inside a MRT machine? I recently was. It took almost an hour!

I guess I've only had fourplay with an MRI/MRT machine - I've only gone in a little bit. But yeah it takes a lot longer that you'd expect and while you have hearing protection its surprisingly loud (like you can feel it through your body). Anyway I hope you're ok.

What to do for 6 hours in London?

Tbh if you're up for it, the best thing to do is just walk the monopoly parts of 'LUNDUN', and just take it all in. If its terrible weather, I'd recommend the V&A Museum. Its right next to the natural history museum (which is nice - but tbh is overhyped). There are 3 world class museums in a row there so you could easily blow off 6 rainy hours theres. Enjoy!

Found a surprising thing on Amazon. Pink plastic and self adhesive nip covers. Now I wonder whats the purpose and who might use such things? Anybody in the know?

I’m 40+ years old. Is it “appropriate” for me to be on Retrospring?

Gatekeeping +40s on a Q&A website is a daft thing to do in my opinion. You don't have to follow people you don't want to - so lets just give each other a break and have fun here, ok!? Life is hard enough that we don't have to give people a hard time on here too...

Would you rather have a sweet or savoury breakfast?

If its an early start I can only really stomach something sweet. But there is no better simple pleasure to me than a sleep in and a nice savoury breakfast.

What's a really bad way to start a sentence?

'So you're saying...' at least when you use it like you understand what is being said and have completely concluded a discussion. Its fine to use if its a question (i.e. 'just so I understand what you're saying, XX?'), but if its a statement - faaaakkkk offff (unless you're actually correct).

How do you stop yourself from cheating?

In a relationship? Pfft thats easy, love and faith - plus if I'm content I have no need to waste energy looking else where. In a board game: if feels better to win without cheating!
