What do you think are important traits to have?
Intelligence seems important, but I'm not sure it really is. Grace and astuteness seem more important. Some humility is important too. Not for myself, of course, but for...other people. Compassion is really important. Good looks are important.
Honesty and as others said empathy.
Compassion. People devoid of empathy should've be trusted to do anything involving people, especially in government.
I agree with that
To expand on that, I think without empathy there is no way to know a person. Logic doesn't do it. That's what I think. Logic for logic, emotion for emotions.
Ability to make people laugh and empathy
Empathy and generosity are very important to me. As are strong moral convictions and courage.
I think empathy, that is for the person, can present a real challenge for possessing the other three. I mean if the person isn't doing too well, it can very
difficult to tell with that kind of person, until they are just about already breaking down.
Actually, they perhaps NEED at least the strong moral convictions and courage, for it to still be viable and stable enough. I think.
The very selfless type and strong, independent minded. Maybe you didn't mean exactly what I said but that's what came to mind for me.
I consider it one of the the hardest things, to be so selfless and caring, empathic and open. I greatly respect anybody who can do that.
