my plan for a school system. Ages 5 to 16 mandatory subjects. Reading, writing, math. BUT u choose one subject of ur own. Something u enjoy. Then from 16 to 18 u choose 5 subjects that interest u. art, music etc U give kids a choice.

You mean have a general ed curriculum and electives that you can be selective about? If ONLY there were four year institutions where this was done already...

When I was in school it was simply like that proposal. But it was a school system implemented by the radical left and no wonder I now am suffering from the communist virus.

In high school they should teach life skills like how to manage money or apply for a job or how to not be a fucking douchebag.

I wish you could just flunk kids for their behavior TBH I would live with that one change, but I know it can't really ever happen, and even if it did, once it happened to the wrong kid their parents would raise hell and the school/board absolutely will not stand behind the teacher who did it and sheepishly reverse the decision

Someone once told me that the earlier you learn reading the more left-brained it makes you and gives you life-long depression.
