Our Mother’s Day was about six weeks ago - the day before lockdown and the last time I saw my mother in the flesh. I got her a white wooden planter (with cut out heart on it) full of spring flowers. My mother’s very most favourite thing is her garden, and she was delighted.
I usually take her out to dinner so I'll probably look for a decent restaurant doing takeout and bring it to her. Nothing classier than some hand delivered steak dinners condensating in their styrofoam containers.
