Wow! I didn't know you can eat octopus. It's so strange to me TBH.

Yes, I had it a couple of times. Freshly grilled squid is good but not a wonder of taste intensity. But I do not like to eat octopus, they are so clever and interesting creatures and I suspect they are more intelligent than most do think. I' m not eager to eat one. They are weird but also kinda cute.

I like fried calamari, as long as it is cooked properly and has the proper crispy texture, that's what I would need from octopus - the only time I had octopus was in Chinatown San Francisco, I ordered egg drop soup as an appetizer and there was a surprise (to me) in there, the octopus was rubbery and unpleasant to my American palette

I have. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it. But when its fresh and cooked well - its terrific.
