Which do you think is the main driving force of armed conflict: resources or ideology?

I think currently ideology, though historically resources (???)

Though there's probably instances of both being framed as the other, maybe lots.

I don't know, I don't study world history, but just from what I've heard about various wars I get the impression it's ideology.

That is a tricky question, but I think its resources nowadays. It wouldn't be too farfetched to say that ideology has caused more conflict over the course of human history though.
