how did you get into hypno?
You can blame my partner 😄 Mind control was always a favorite kink of mine, but he showed me that hypnosis was, like, a real thing, and tons of fun. We were long-distance at the time, so it was a wonderful way to be intimate together when all we could do is talk. From there it's the usual; figured out I couldn't handle files, spent a few years in awful chatrooms, embraced switchiness, etc.

I used to be heavily into hypnosis but haven't been hypnotised in several years now and I really miss it. I also have severe RSD (rejection-sensitive dysphoria). What would you suggest? Clean break from the community? Or some other way to try and find someone willing to help?
I don't think one needs to be involved with any kind of community in order to participate in hypnotic activities. Spaces like that are just one of an endless number of ways to meet people, and in my experience, you really can meet people who are into hypnosis in all kinds of places. Whenever I bring it up at kink events, plenty of people are at least interested, if not already experienced. I don't know what sort of approach would work best for you, but I do know that making a 'clean break from the community', if that's what you want to do, doesn't mean you have to stop wanting and pursuing hypnosis.

Tricky... I don't quite get the chastity thing, myself. For me, getting to feel good is kind of the point, ultimately.
Though, thinking about it, I suppose I can see it as a different kind of good feeling. Knowing that you've done what you're told, resisted temptation. The feeling of overcoming a base urge in order to better reflect your- well, obedience, I assume. Let's go with that.
I imagine the hard part is sticking to it when nobody's watching, though. When you're anonymous like this, and a little indiscretion would go unnoticed. If you were to reach down and start touching, well... nobody would know. You could have your cake and eat it, too. You could finally feel that full-bodied, sheet-grabbing, wonderful climax, and maintain your streak in the eyes of those keeping score.
But you won't do that.

hi same person from the last q you answered: admittedly someone was doing a LOT of heavy lifting yeah. I want to practice hypnotism as a skill but worry muchly about "messing up" because I end up worrying that I'll do something catastrophically wrong, even if my usual kink framework would not allow it. And I am also now just realizing this is not a question. Thank you, regardless, for the response. Maybe I'll give topping a shot soon.

What in your opinion is an underrated sensation to play with when doing hypnotic sensation play?

Do you think its possible for someone who has never tried hypnotizing someone (and has like, almost no improv skill developed) to hypnotize someone? Asking for myself, because while I've wanted to try it, I get too nervous to project the confidence like i want, and also worry i wouldn't know how to properly give someone what they want from trance.
I don't see why it wouldn't be, but the word 'someone' is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Does your subject need you to project confidence? You might have trouble with that. Do they require a flexible, improv-driven approach? You might have trouble with that too. Is your subject the type to demand their most complex and intricate fantasies right from the word 'go'? That's on them, honestly, but like, also trouble.
Not every subject needs those things, however! Improv is a valuable skill to have when you're working with a lot of different subjects, definitely, but you can take a prepared script into a session and have a great time. I've worked with folks who do that, and it was a good time. Confidence helps keep a measured and steady pace, certainly, but you don't need to have that either. You can build up to these things with time, if you want - or you can just try and find your own style, rely on things that are closer to your comfort zone.
It's like any other skill - with practice, you can find out what your way of being a hypnotist is like. Maybe you stick to scripts, maybe you develop a reportoire of distinct techniques, maybe you stick to playing with people who have a clear understanding of what they need to go under. If hypnotizing people is something that you want, that genuinely excites and interests you, then practice is all it takes. You do need subjects who're genuinely willing to help you work on that stuff, which is easier said than done, but far from impossible.

Underrated, like, globally? When they're wimpy and agencyless. Gamers always complain about that, but we love it when a boy is powerless
Underrated among those who appreciate twinks? I think it's hot when the twink can magically float. There's a like... delicate vibe to it? It's a very gentle way of getting around, I think.

What are the dominant taxonomies of video game twinks?
- JRPG twink: The largest group. Can be subdivided into subcategories like 'chosen one', 'ineffecutal viewpoint character' and 'Fire Emblem'.
- Character action twink: Distinguished by their bouts of edginess. Ranges from characters like 9S to DMC3 Dante. These get the best fanart by far.
- Fighting game twinks: Dwindling as their natural environment becomes inhospitable. Those who survive often do so by evolving into the rare 'actual queer rep'
- Dating sim twinks: Eternal and unyielding. The marine life of video game twinks; we will never catalogue them all, and it's futile to even try.

I've had lifelong "flinch" reactions that have gradually worn down into freeze reactions around people I trust and it's kinda intense but, very tempting to lean into it and just wait for the other's move. hard to make it seem encouraging though, dont ya think?
