Problem is our culture never provides toilet mirrors to inspect and approve the proper state of cleaning of the bum. Either a full wash or a repetitve wiping plus control is what culture has on offer. I therefore like the cultures that offer a bidet for proper cleaning of the body after you did what is necessary. Pee or poo should be followed by a soft and watery cleaning procedure if you ask me. But humanity in general isn't so far developed.
