How comes that people who are prone to believe in conspiracy theories often have right-wing political views?

Hm, if that is a true observation, it might be out of a deep mistrust into the existing "leadership" which is making use of a more or less balanced approach to decision making, while right-wingers have a very strong preference for autocratic leadership that does not take into account other views. Not visibly. They think that "orders" is a better way to provide working solutions to problems than a give and take mode. In their view to provide a balanced answer needs deception of the public since they feel that it isn't possible to find a balance at all, so to let things appear as balanced it must be a fabricated lie. They only understand a simple yes or no message, there is no intermediate grey solution to them, they reject that as a lie or as a "weak" response or both.
