What do you say when a politician tells you that your ageing parents and grand parents are obsolete and may lose their lifes due to COVID19, but economy is more important?

They should bring back the guillotine. Deal with them the same way the French revolution did.

I can say: "Write this on a big piece of paper. Then roll it and shove it up your rectum." But saying this doesn't solve the problem. It just helps you vent your anger. To actually solve the problem, people need to take action, something usually free world settlers have a right to.

We can do whatever we want, the 'economy' and 'markets' are man-made, we didn't find them in the dirt one day... we just make a conscious, deliberate choice to be psychos with no empathy

I don't think increasing the spread of COVID by, for example, supporting the economy results in any more deaths than not doing it, because the same percentage of people are going to get infected in the end. If anything it's probably better that those old people get infected sooner rather than later when they're even older.

I mean I'm aware that a failing economy can kill too, if some politician told me to my face that my parents lives are disposable I would probably retaliate in some fashion.
