Have you been seen as an offender though you were innocent but you cannot prove it? During my driving lessons a girl in our car had to park in a narrow spot and I sneezed once and in that split second I knew it came over as suppressed laughter ....

When I left my job at an IT company someone (past employee) left a scathing review of their time there on Glassdoor.com and it was posted the same time I left there. My old co-workers kept asking if it was me because of the timing and I explained it had to have been someone else. But the last hire our Dept had was literally months ago and it wouldn't make sense for them to leave a review then. But it wasn't me! I don't think they believed me.

Yes. I’ve said something completely in an innocent manner and it gets misconstrued as something naughty.

Someone in Uni thought I stole their fish fingers (I didn't), I think there were other things going on in her life but she shouted at me (I said I have fish fingers of my own and if she likes she can have mine as I didn't see it as much of an issue). Then she quickly quit uni after. It was obvious who was pinching food after, its just sad I got blamed as I was the quiet one who didn't defend myself early so I was the last person left if her eyes that could have done it.
