Have you ever begged your neighbours for sugar, milk or an egg due to a shortage in your fridge?

No, that would be weird and awkward. I guess neighbors aren't really that close around here.

Yes, yes, and yes. Milk especially. And I’ve also been the giver. My neighbour (who has a key and is the best neighbour in the world) has also been known to steal packets of biscuits because he’s had unexpected guests and doesn’t have anything to give them. He also buys fresh milk and bread for me when he knows I’m coming home after being away. And he used to look after my guinea pig when I was away. Once for over four months. I could hardly get him back!

Two of my close friends live in the same building, I knew them before I lived here. I haven't ever asked for baking supplies, but I did borrow a hairdryer once.

I typed "barrow" originally so I did delete that, fix it, and repost it. Now no one will know it ever happened. That's called being on top of things

Nah I would just go to the store beforehand - I'm one of those people who kinda sets out all the ingredients and does my prep work before I start cooking, so it's pretty rare that I'm caught without an egg by surprise ... non-food items I have borrowed before - snow shovels and whatnot
