What is your most meaningful piece of clothing and why?

The hospital shirt I wore on my last day of my stay at the psych ward.

Reminds me of the interesting people I met there.

The most precious piece of cloth to me is my baby blanket. My mom made it out of one of her favorite shirts. 💜 I treasure it and keep in stored in a safe spot. Besides that there is a dress my aunt made. I used to be a folkloric dancer. 🥀I miss her ( even though I don't dance anymore, I will never throw it out) I updated it for my last performance and pageant contest. 🥲 Idk something about home made gives it that special touch 💙

my pair of black jeans bc i only own 2 pairs of jeans and if i lost this one it would be so hard for me to find another well-fitting pair

I don't have any clothing with sentimental value, but do own a blanket I've had with me since I was just a baby. It's in great shape too.

I guess it would be my tweed jacket... purely because I've been given a lot of complements from it (which is pretty rare for me).

ex-girlfriend knitted me a scarf a few years ago - I don't even wear scarves but the effort of making it dictates that I could never get rid of it

When I was 12-13, I had a pen pal who lived in Ankara in Turkey. She sent me a scarf that she’d embroidered flowers around the edge of. It’s so beautiful. I’ve only worn it a few times but I’d never get rid of it.

I have a couple hats that were handmade for me. I haven't used them in a long while because they started to show ear and I wanted to keep them. I packed them away. They're meaningful because time and luv went into them. Aside from that, there's a few hand-me-down items that people gave to me. They're meaningful because were a gesture of support.

The pair of jeans I snatched from my girlfriend and the black velvet dress I have. I did wear that the first time I dared to show a cleavage after cancer treatment and the former is still a reminder to the very first time when me and my now again girlfriend fell in love with each other.
