How long does it take you when you starting seeing someone/dating before you start confiding in them w personal matters?
I don't date a person unless we know each other fairly well. I can't date people I don't really know. I'm not attracted to strangers, no matter how attractive they may be.
I don't remember that ever being an issue with me. Confiding or not confiding. I don't remember confiding about particularly personal matters, but it's not like I was reserved about it.. I think I just didn't have any personal matters. I guess I've never had much of a life to talk about. =P
not too early on but pretty early. i find sharing some of my truma earns me sympathy points:)
When I talk to a new person I do not want to bother the new person with too much of my nitty gritty details. But after a while we will inevitably get to a point where personal matters will be interesting mutually. That might come quicker than anticipated because some person I like are very blunt and ask for the obvious but in an innocent way, which is a feature I like very much. I sat once in a café after almost all were gone with a new acquaintance and we started to talk and she put her head between her hands and stared into my face and eyes slightly smiling. Then she said: I can see that you are single and that that happend to you out of the blue. But it's been a while I guess? - So we jumped right in. And in that course I told her many more little things about me. There was that air of understanding. When we parted I gave her the triple cheek kisses as is the custom and she gave me a light short kiss on my mouth. Unconventional in every aspect. Given the right person I can be inviting to my personal world like a hungry shark. LOL. Swallow, she's in. LOL
