As you might've heard in the news, the Chinese government has corralled many Uighurs into re-education camps and forced lots of them into labor. Would you knowingly buy goods and services produced by forced labor?

Definitely not. At least, not knowingly. But that’s easier said than done sometimes, especially with things made in far away places where workers’ rights aren’t a high a priority. I won’t buy anything from Primark (or any of those really cheap clothes shops) because their stuff is cheap at the expense of the poor folk who make it. Maybe not truly ‘forced labour’, but not far off it most of the time.
